Terms of Service

Doombringerz ("Platform", "Service") is operated by Ridoco (KVK: 95439609, BTW: NL005153257B49), registered at De Nieuwe Erven 3-12572, 5431 NV Cuijk, Netherlands. By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age, or the minimum age required by your country's laws, whichever is higher. Users under 18 require parental or guardian consent.

2. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to:

Provide accurate information
Not share your account with others
Not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
Notify Ridoco of unauthorized access

3. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Ridoco a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute it on the Platform.

You agree not to submit content that:

Violates any law or regulation
Infringes intellectual property rights
Contains malware or harmful code
Is misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive
Contains hate speech, harassment, or threats
Contains explicit content involving minors

4. Marketplace Listings & Creator Content

The HR Protocol Marketplace lets creators publish listings (characters, voices, tool packs, personality prompts, and lore packs). If you publish a listing, you additionally represent, warrant, and agree that:

Legality. Your content is lawful under Dutch and EU law and does not fall into any prohibited category, including but not limited to sexual content involving minors (real or fictional), non-consensual or deceptive sexual imagery of real people (including AI-generated "deepfakes"), and instructions to build weapons or carry out attacks.
Ownership. You own the content or hold all rights and licenses necessary to publish and distribute it, and it does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights, and does not impersonate Ridoco's canonical characters or brands.
Accurate rating. You will label each listing with an accurate content rating. Adult / mature (18+) content is permitted but must be tagged Mature so it is age-gated and hidden from the default browse view. Mislabelling mature content as general is a violation.
Notice-and-action. Listings may be reported by any user and reviewed by Ridoco's moderators. Ridoco may remove ("take down") a listing at its discretion, including at publish time via automated screening for clearly-illegal content, and may issue strikes against a creator. Accumulated strikes suspend your ability to publish. This does not create any obligation on Ridoco to monitor content proactively.
Indemnity. You will indemnify and hold harmless Ridoco and its operators from any claim, loss, or liability arising out of content you publish, including third-party IP, privacy, or unlawful-content claims.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights or Ridoco's obligations under the EU Digital Services Act and applicable consumer law. Report a listing using the in-product report control or via the support ticket system.

5. Virtual Currency (Essence of Hell)

The Platform offers a virtual currency ("Essence of Hell" / "EoH") that can be purchased or earned. EoH:

Has no real-world monetary value outside the Platform
Is non-transferable unless explicitly supported
Cannot be exchanged for real currency
Is subject to the Refund Policy

By purchasing EoH, you acknowledge that you are acquiring a limited, revocable license to use digital content within the Platform, and that delivery begins immediately upon purchase.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by third-party providers (Stripe, PayPal, MultiSafePay). All prices are displayed in EUR. The VAT treatment that applies is stated with the price before you complete a purchase. By completing a purchase, you agree to the payment provider's terms.

6a. Subscriptions

Some services are sold as a subscription. A subscription renews automatically for the same period until you end it, and is charged at the start of each period.

You can end a subscription yourself at any time from your account, under Subscription. There is no minimum term and no notice period. Ending it stops the next renewal; the service stays available until the end of the period you have already paid for, and that period is not refunded on the basis of cancellation alone.

Ending a subscription is not the same as withdrawing from it. If you are a consumer, you also have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal, described in the Right of Withdrawal. Where you asked for the service to start during those fourteen days and then withdraw, you owe a proportionate amount for the part already provided.

7. Prohibited Conduct

Attempting unauthorized access to the Platform or other accounts
Interfering with Platform infrastructure
Using automated tools that degrade service quality
Circumventing security or access controls
Impersonating another person or entity
Collecting other users' personal data without consent

8. Moderation

Ridoco reserves the right to remove content, restrict access, or terminate accounts at its discretion for violations of these Terms or community guidelines.

9. Intellectual Property

The Doombringerz name, logos, design, and source code are property of Ridoco. Third-party trademarks (Discord, Steam, etc.) belong to their respective owners. This platform is not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies.

10. Termination

Ridoco may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. RIDOCO DOES NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION.

Nothing in this clause limits a consumer's mandatory statutory rights, including the statutory conformity rights for digital content (art. 7:50aa et seq. BW) and the protection against unfair contract terms (art. 6:236 and 6:237 BW).

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ridoco shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the greater of amounts paid in the preceding 12 months or EUR 100. Nothing in this clause limits a consumer's mandatory statutory rights, including the statutory conformity rights for digital content (art. 7:50aa et seq. BW) and the protection against unfair contract terms (art. 6:236 and 6:237 BW).

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. EU consumer protection laws of your country apply to the extent they provide greater protection. Disputes are submitted to Dutch courts, without prejudice to EU consumer rights.

14. Changes

Ridoco may update these Terms. Material changes are communicated via the Platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
