Minion game: Terms of Service
Last updated: Oct 6, 2026
1. Agreement
By playing you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to play. The game depicts stylised faction conflict and may not be appropriate for young children.
Buying Essence of Hell or the Overseer Pass needs a doombringerz.com account, and you must be at least 16 to create one. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to buy anything.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for everything done on your account.
- Do not share, sell, or buy accounts.
- You must provide a working email if you register one.
4. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Cheat, exploit, bot, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass security.
- Harass other players or post content that is illegal, hateful, sexual involving minors, or infringing.
- Extract or scrape content or data from the game.
- Use the game to break any law applicable to you.
Ridoco can remove chat messages, feed posts or names that break these rules. How moderation works, and how to appeal a decision, is set out in the Rules.
5. Essence of Hell and game items
Essence of Hell (EoH) is prepaid credit for doombringerz.com. You can buy it, and some EoH is given for free. You can spend it in this game and in the doombringerz.com store, where 1 EoH counts as EUR 1.00. EoH and items bought with EoH cannot be paid out in cash, sold, or moved to another account. EoH given for free or earned in the game, and the Overseer Pass stipend, cannot be used for software licences or downloads in the store.
EoH you bought does not expire. Ridoco only lowers your balance when you spend EoH, when a purchase is withdrawn, refunded or charged back, or to undo EoH credited by a technical error or through cheating.
Game items, levels and progress are part of the game. Ridoco can change them to fix bugs or exploits, to balance the game, or to meet a legal requirement. If a change takes away or clearly reduces an item you bought with EoH, you get that EoH back. Ridoco does not reset your progress without announcing it in the game at least 14 days ahead, and a reset never touches your EoH or the items you bought.
If Ridoco closes the game, you are told at least 60 days ahead, and the game shop stops selling items on the day it is announced. If Ridoco stops accepting EoH, you are told at least 60 days ahead, and EoH you bought and have not spent is refunded in euros on request, based on the price you paid per EoH.
6. Payments and your right of withdrawal
Prices are in euros, as shown at checkout. The price, the payment methods and your right of withdrawal are shown again before you pay. You pay on the checkout page of Stripe or PayPal.
Essence of Hell. EoH is added to your balance straight away. You can withdraw from an EoH purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. You then get back the price of the EoH from that purchase that you have not spent.
Items bought with EoH. Where the game asks you, before you get an item, to confirm that you want it straight away and that you lose the right to withdraw once it is delivered, and Ridoco confirms this to you by email, you cannot withdraw once the item is delivered (art. 6:230p onder g and 6:230v lid 7 BW). Otherwise you can undo the item purchase within 14 days and get the EoH back.
Overseer Pass. You can cancel the Pass at any time in your account under Subscription. It then ends at the end of the month you paid for. You can also withdraw within 14 days of subscribing. If you asked at checkout for the Pass to start straight away, you pay for the days you had it and get the rest of the first month's price back. You keep the EoH that came with those days. EoH that came for later days and that you have not spent is removed from your balance.
To withdraw, use the withdrawal form or the model withdrawal form, or email contact@doombringerz.com. The date you send it is the date that counts.
7. Intellectual property
All game assets, code, logos, and brand elements remain the property of Ridoco or its licensors. You may stream gameplay and make non-commercial fan content; commercial reuse requires written permission.
8. Availability and liability
Ridoco cannot promise that the game is never interrupted. Planned maintenance is announced in the game when possible.
If the game, or something you paid for, does not work as agreed, you have the statutory rights for digital content: Ridoco puts it right, or you can ask for a price reduction or end the contract and get your money back (art. 7:50aa to 7:50ap of the Dutch Civil Code).
Ridoco is liable for damage under Dutch law. Ridoco is not liable for damage caused by events outside its control, such as an outage at a hosting or payment provider. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or rights that the mandatory law of your country gives you.
9. Suspension and termination
Ridoco can suspend or close your account for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, such as cheating, fraud or harassment. A smaller breach first gets a warning or a temporary restriction. You are told the reason, and you can appeal at doombringerz.com/appeal.
When your account is closed, EoH you bought and have not spent is refunded in euros, based on the price you paid per EoH, and so is Overseer Pass time you paid for and have not used. There is no refund for EoH obtained through fraud or through a payment that was charged back; when an account is closed for fraud or a chargeback, only that EoH is left out.
You can stop playing at any time, and you can delete your account in your account settings.
10. Changes to these Terms
Ridoco can change these Terms for a valid reason, such as a new feature, a change in the law or a security issue. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
A change that works against you and is not required by law applies only to purchases made after that date. What you bought before keeps the Terms it was bought under. A change the law requires, or one that only favours you, applies from that date.
If you do not accept a change, you can close your account. EoH you bought and have not spent is then refunded in euros, based on the price you paid per EoH, and so is unused Overseer Pass time.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence.
