EclipseBook: Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to purchases on this platform, including Essence of Hell ("EoH") and subscriptions.

1. Your right of withdrawal

As a consumer you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. How that works depends on what you bought.

• EoH. EoH is added to your balance straight away. If you withdraw within 14 days, you get back the price of the EoH from that purchase that you have not spent.
• Digital content, such as a software licence, a download or a game item. The right ends once delivery has started, but only if you asked for delivery to start straight away, you acknowledged that you lose the right, and Ridoco confirmed both to you on a durable medium such as an email (art. 6:230p onder g and 6:230v lid 7 BW). Where this applies, the checkout or the game asks you before you pay or before the item is delivered, and Ridoco records the exact wording with the date and time.
• Subscriptions, such as the Overseer Pass. If you asked for the subscription to start straight away and then withdraw within 14 days, you pay for the days you had it and get the rest back. You keep the EoH that came with those days. EoH that came for later days and that you have not spent is removed from your balance.

If you were not asked, the exception does not apply and you keep the full 14 day right of withdrawal. Where the right still applies, the fastest way to use it is the withdrawal function: enter your contract reference and the email address on the order, and your statement is recorded with the exact time you sent it. You do not need an account to use it.

Any clear statement is enough, including the statutory model withdrawal form, an email, or a support ticket. You do not have to give a reason. The date you send your statement is the date that counts, not the date it gets read.

2. Technical Issues

If a purchase was not correctly credited due to a technical error, contact support immediately via the support ticket system.

3. When there is no refund

There is no refund for:

• EoH you have already spent, except as described in section 1;
• EoH you received for free, such as through promotions, giveaways, prize wheels or admin grants;
• EoH obtained through fraud or through a payment that was charged back.

EoH you bought and have not spent is refunded in euros, based on the price you paid per EoH, and so is unused subscription time, when your account is closed, when Ridoco stops accepting EoH or stops the service, or when something you paid for does not work as agreed and cannot be put right (art. 7:50aa et seq. BW).

4. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting the support ticket system, your account may be suspended pending resolution.
