Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to purchases of virtual currency ("Essence of Hell" / "EoH") and related services on this platform. This policy complies with EU consumer protection law, including the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).

1. Digital Goods Exception

EoH is a digital good delivered immediately upon purchase. Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m), the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content delivered immediately when:

• You have given prior express consent to begin delivery immediately
• You have acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal
• Ridoco has provided you with confirmation of that consent and acknowledgement on a durable medium (art. 6:230v(7) BW)

Both of those are asked for explicitly at checkout, as two separate tick boxes you must tick yourself before payment. Neither is implied by buying. Ridoco records what you were shown, word for word, along with the date and time.

If you were not asked, the exception does not apply and you keep the full 14 day right of withdrawal. Where the right still applies, the fastest way to use it is the withdrawal function: enter your contract reference and the email address on the order, and your statement is recorded with the exact time you sent it. You do not need an account to use it.

Any clear statement is enough, including the statutory model withdrawal form, an email, or a support ticket. You do not have to give a reason. The date you send your statement is the date that counts, not the date it gets read.

2. Technical Issues

If a purchase was not correctly credited due to a technical error, contact support immediately via the support ticket system.

3. Exceptions

Refunds will not be issued for:

• EoH that has been credited to your account (delivery completed)
• Account termination due to Terms of Service violations
• EoH obtained through promotions, giveaways, or admin grants
• Fraudulent purchase activity

4. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting the support ticket system, your account may be suspended pending resolution.
