Two custom AI bots are now running in the community Discord. They work very differently.
Rascal (prefix: !) is the chaotic one. Unpredictable, loud, and occasionally useful. He responds to messages, searches the web, and has a memory that persists across conversations. Don't trust him with anything important.
Halcyon (prefix: ~) is the calm counterpart. Considerably more reliable. Same capabilities.
Both bots answer from the server's own Compute Module first, if one is online, and otherwise from the Doombringerz hosted server running Ollama (llama3.1:8b). On the Doombringerz community server, Anthropic's Claude API is tried before the hosted server. Image generation is not available yet: the bot server has no GPU.
Available commands include:
- /setup_r / /setup_h: configure channels per bot
- /remember_r: teach the bot something
- /search_r: web search via SearXNG
- /summarize_r: summarise recent chat
- /reddit_r: monitor subreddits and post updates to Discord
