How usage credits are charged
- On the hosted servers
- Work that runs on the hosted inference machines uses hosted compute, so it draws down an allowance. That is the Discord bots and the mobile app.
- On your machine
- The desktop app runs the model locally on your own hardware. That costs nothing to host, so it is not charged and there is no allowance to run out of.
