Sylvaria is a cinematic roleplay community. What gets built here depends entirely on the respect every participant extends to the experience, the story, and one another. These rules are not suggestions: they are the binding terms of your presence in this forest. Ignorance is not an excuse. The bones remember everything.
I. Community Conduct

Respect the Forest and Other Players
Treat every participant with basic human dignity. Disagreements happen; abuse does not. What happens in character stays in character. Do not bring IC conflicts into OOC spaces.

No Harassment
Harassment of any kind, targeted, sustained, or coordinated, results in permanent removal without appeal. This includes DM harassment, doxxing, and coordinated in-game targeting.

Keep OOC Disputes Off-Game
Out-of-character disputes must not be raised in in-character channels. Use designated OOC channels or contact an admin directly via Discord.
II. Roleplay Rules

In-Character Deaths are Permanent for the Session
If your character dies in a witnessed RP event, that character is dead for the duration of the session. Resurrection requires admin approval and lore justification (e.g., a relic, a cult ritual). Do not simply respawn and continue as if nothing happened.

Cult War Declarations Require a Witness
A formal cult war cannot be declared without an admin or designated witness present during the declaration. Unwitnessed wars are not recognized and do not affect standings.

God Obligations
The deity path you serve defines your roleplay obligations. You are expected to embody the themes and constraints of your chosen path. Serving Bone while behaving like Tide creates narrative dissonance, and the admin team will notice.
III. Relics & Game Systems

Relics Must Be Registered via Discord
Any relic found in the forest must be reported to an admin via Discord within 24 hours of discovery. Unregistered relics grant no reputation and may be voided. Include your Discord username, character name, and where you found it.
IV. Administration

Admin Rulings are Final
The admin team's decisions are final. You may appeal a decision once, in writing, via Discord. Appeals that are abusive, repetitive, or clearly frivolous will be dismissed and may result in additional action.

Permanent Ban Offenses
The following result in immediate permanent bans with no appeal:
